The first day of winter? Well, not really - but it is the first blast of wintery weather we have seen for this year! It was bitterly cold in the Northern Lakes today, on the way home after deciding to abort the days work I stopped off at Castlerigg to see what there was to photograph. Glad I braved the icy roads for this one!
