Bare Trees in Arkholme

This scene has caught my eye many times, the two mounds look man made, and given the age of the trees growing out of them they must be pretty ancient.

It was a dull day but the clouds broke slightly allowing some colour into the sky. The skeletal like bare trees just fitted into the overall scene perfectly. It was a suprising photograph, one that I didn't think would work, but one that did very well.
