The Leasing Model

14th September 2017
I have to say... my recent dalliance with leasing vehicles has proved really, really worthwhile! Due to problems (by which I mean breakdowns that involved recovery trucks and several lost days) on a couple of occasions, and a couple of "drive in" repairs I really had no option but change my works vehicle over. It was supremely quick and easy to do, I even had both lined up on the driveway for a couple of days to allow me to move all my gear from one to the other! It's one occasion that the slow down in the economy has actually proved quite beneficial to me... in different circumstances it could have been very difficult to make the change! Would be nice to see things return to growth soon though, it's getting a little bit old clothes and porridge around here, which is fine for a while - but starts getting old after a while. I think it is going to get worse before it gets better though with the hugely destabilising policies being pursued by our "wonderful" government....

Going back to a pickup was a bit of a shock to the system. Don't get me wrong, it drives really nicely and gives that reassurance of solidity that was lacking in the van... but the interior is a lot more cramped, especially with 3 kids on the back seat and a puppy thrown in with them! No one complained though, and everyone was comfortable, so it worked out fine! How we will get another one in though I don't know....

The light is starting to change here now and the scenery is starting to come into it's prime! I haven't had much chance to get out and photograph anything much as yet - today had superb opportunities, but I was trying to get places and didn't have the time to make anything of it. Autumn is still very young though so I am not going to overly worry about some missed shots today. Looking at it positively - I did get some great ideas for new shots!

I think that's about it for me for now. Bit of a road trip tomorrow so an early night I think.
