2018: Week 16

22nd April 2018
These weeks are just a blur at the moment, there is so much to do pending our trip off to say the final farewell to my big brother and photography has taken a back seat to some extent as a result.

Monday I was up the west coast in Whitehaven. I had plans to take some intereting photographs of Haig Pit but I failed. Brain wasn't in gear and I messed up the settings!

I did get a shot of a blackbird though which I quite liked:

Tuesday I was back up the west coast, Workington this time, and it was miserable! Wet and stormy, but I did get one of my better photographs in a while on the way home!

Wednesday was another busy day but I got a little creative with some wood anemone that grow in our garden!

Thursday was a nice, warm day and I was out in Ambleside, but the light was rubbish. I did get a nice shot of a curious jackdaw though!

Friday was a crazy busy day with a trip to Liverpool! There is so much to see and do there, and I was gutted not to have taken a "proper" camera. Still, the phone cam came in useful!

Saturday was spent gardening... not much to shoot so I grabbed a frame of the car to make up the numbers!

Sunday was a Scout Camp for Lachlan. Didn't get up to much else as I felt like death last night and sleep was poor! A photo from Tower Wood it is then!

Next week I am on with an installation near Ulverston and probably a few other bits and pieces too.
