Family Adventures

06th April 2015
It has been a great long weekend over Easter, and I think we have made the most of it! Friday was a little dismal so we didn't do much more than pop into town for lunch in a cafe:

Saturday, however, was lovely - the sun was shining and we set off out to Sizergh Castle for the Easter Egg Hunt. The boys had a great time out and about in the warm spring weather and really enjoyed having the space to run, explore and play:

Sunday the cloud came down so we waited for a while before venturing out on a trip up to High Dam near Lakeside/Finsthwaite. This was a cunningly disguised recce for some locations, but also a great adventure for the boys who climbed up to the tarn and back down without any significant help!

Today I have an old injury plaguing me again so we have taken it a little easier with a walk/bike ride around Ulverston.

But all in all it has been a pretty good, active and enjoyable weekend! Photographically it may not have been exceptional, but I have scoped out some locations, and more importantly captured some memories of the boys as they grow up and have ever more exciting adventures!

And that is one of the key points of photography surely!
