The last few days we have been back to an area of Suberthwaite Common again and again. There is a spot which looks up from the edge of the common towards the Duddon Fells and Furness Fells (up to and including the Old Man of Coniston). It is a really lovely vista, even in the summer when the colours are "all wrong" in my view. It's too green!

That said, this is a great spot which could offer so much potential for shoots later in the year.

It is incredible how a view which you have passed so often can start to grow on you when you stop, look and think for a while. This is one view I look forward to exploring more in the months and years ahead!
