First Day!

14th November 2013
Lachlan went to nursery today for the first time - he is doing 2 mornings a week (3 hours each) for the moment. We were worried how he would react, but we needn't have been concerned. No tears, no worries - he just got stuck in and didn't want to leave at lunchtime!

It will be interesting to see how Hamish gets on next year - he is by far the more independent minded of the two it would seem.

Meanwhile I was out working up the west coast, the light was pretty good and the visibility wasn't bad either. So I just had to stop for a couple of shots! The first is a panoramic view from near Gawthwaite above Ulverston looking over towards Coniston Water.

And the second is a panoramic taken from Corney Fell looking towards the Duddon Valley.

There were so many other shots that I could have taken, perhaps some better ones, it was just a matter of having the time to stop! But they can sit as ideas for other days!

Operation De-Blubber is going slowly, the diet side is being taken a bit more seriously but there remains some room for improvement - and the exercise regime needs to take shape as yet. But there is something of a loose plan forming for that too. I must take some "selfies" soon to record my current shape and then attempt to update on a semi-regular basis!

I will try anything and everything to get this body change under way ;-)
