Getting Fitter...

21st November 2012
Popped out for a spin around Grizedale Forest today, I was expecting to get my lap time to under 2 hours... but I wasn't expecting to get it down to under an hour and a half! One hour and twenty five minutes later I arrived back at the carpark rather surprised!

It was a great ride too, faster than before - but also more technically competent. I found myself in the middle ring a lot more regularly than previously and clearing sections I haven't in the past. Superb!

How does this relate to my photography... not a lot. But increased fitness does mean more energy to get up into the hills and remote places, so in a way it all helps! Plus it is a great way of clearing my head and purging some of the negative thoughts that dog me from time to time.

So, today's photograph is, unsurprisingly, my bike at Grizedale!

Back to college tomorrow, so I suspect there will be nothing particularly exciting to shoot especially with the nights drawing in earlier and earlier now.
