Happy Halloween

01st November 2014
I have been very down the last couple of days - I don't know why, I think it is just frustration ontop of everything else. But not to worry, it is passing.

It is a new month though, and time to pull myself together, refocus on the important stuff and start trying to get on with things. Much of the problem is living in a house where I simply cannot get back into the things I once loved, and I think music is quite high on that list. I used to love listening and playing EVERY DAY... I have barely touched a guitar in a decade, and only listen in the car now which is hardly ideal.

One of the things I dream of when we move is a bit of space - it can be in the office even if there is no dedicated space... or even an upgraded outbuilding (which may be better) where I can have some decent amps, a decent hifi and very probably a bit of vinyl. When I can expand my creativity into other areas it seems to feed into the others.

But all this is for another day, there isn't a thing I can do about it at the moment other than sit and wait.

Anyway, yesterday was Halloween and the boys had plenty of fun. Hamish ran out of steam early and I had to bring him back from the really rather good Candlelit Walk in The Gill here in Ulverston... fortunately we only live a short walk away at the moment. Lachlan, however, got right into it all.
