Woolfest 2013

29th June 2013
Not a bad day today - popped over to Woolfest in Cockermouth both for Jen to take a look at some of the stuff on display for inspiration, and to meet up with my old neighbours from Cambuskenneth, Kev & Kat, along with their vastly enhanced brood!

It was good to have a catch up, and hopefully they will be popping in on their way home later today since it was so hectic in the show! I was talking to Kev about meeting up for some camping trips in the future since their clan merrily adopted Lachlan!

The show was pretty good, though a nightmare to navigate with a buggy. By next year it should be easier since Hamish will be toddling along and we can manage without wheels. There was a load to see, and Lachlan was particularly taken with the rare breed sheep!

I must appologise for the lack of new output for the website this month. There are a few reasons really - principally I have just been too busy with other things to take time out for some decent landscape work. There has also been a spate of pretty bad weather and rubbish light to contend with (well, there has been some good evening light but I have been either too exhausted or rushed off my feet with the boys to even contemplate going out to shoot anything).

I must try harder in July though! Summer is never my most productive time and this is something I really should address!
